Shenandoah River Outfitters's Speciality--All day canoeing ending with a charcoal cooked steak and chicken dinner is one of the most popular way to enjoy the Shenandoah River.

The outing begins in the morning on the river which flows between the Blue Ridge and Massanutten Mountains and though the George Washington National Forest. A riverside lunch prepared and served by the Outfitter's staff quells any mid-day hunger. The feast includes charcoal cooked hamburgers with all the trimmings.

The trip's finale is the all-you-care-to-eat steak dinner, cooked over an open fire, in the Outfitter's open-air Pavilion. (Let us know if you have any vegetarians in your group.) Come and enjoy a relaxing day of fellowship with friends canoeing, swimming and picnicking in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley on the Shenandoah River.

Plan to camp overnight at Camp OutBack or rent one of our river cabins!.

Dinner time is just the time to relax with that big steak or BBQ chicken. Talk with your friends about the day's adventures. Then have a nice night under the stars in the campground or a quiet trip back home, thinking back to your day on the River.
