| Relax on the banks of the Shenandoah River or jump right in to swim, canoe or tube. The fishing is great--the best small mouth bass fishing in Virginia! Relish in the sounds of the wind in the forest or enjoy our winter snows as you hike in the nearby National Forest! Retreat to the front porch to sit and watch the moon rise! The River Cabins are ideal rustic retreats. Each cabin has 2 rooms--with a double bed and a bunk bed in each room. There is a shower/bathroon off the back room with a kitchenette and table & chairs in the front room. The kitchenette comes with dishes, pots, etc. for 6. There is a 2-burner stove top, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker and a microwave. The cabin has air conditioning and heat but no telephone or TV. There is a grill and picnic table outside the cabin. There are paths to the nearby river (50 yards) where there is the bonfire site. You need to bring your own linens and towels (or rent from us) along with your food and fishing poles! And your dog--these are "pet friendly' cabins. |
